Liberace and Broadway Come Together for Alzheimer’s Fundraiser at Kingston in Santa Fe

Kingston Residence of Santa Fe is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday July 19th   from 6:30 P.M.to 9:00 P.M. in support of the New Mexico Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.  The evening will feature David Geist, a twenty year veteran of Broadway, playing music from some of the most recognized musicals in history.  Mr. Geist will share his talent on a grand piano once owned by Wladziu Valentino Liberace.

The Liberace piano was graciously donated by Dr. John Foulk and his wife who reside at Kingston Residence. Dr. Foulk purchased the piano for his wife several years ago from one of Liberace’s Las Vegas Nevada estates.  The Foulk family has the original footage from The Tonight Show where Johnny Carson gifted the beautiful grand piano to Liberace.

“This is a perfect opportunity to share a resident’s story and give back to the community” said Pamela Plaza Executive Director.  “We are looking forward to hosting this exciting event and showing off our wonderful facility.”

The evening will include a silent auction, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres prepared by Kingston’s award winning chef Tony Quintana.

Tickets can be purchased for $50.00 ahead of time or at the door. Please contact Kingston at 505-471-2400 to purchase tickets. Kingston Residence of Santa Fe is located at 2400 Legacy Court
